These terms and conditions apply to the Tidy AI app (hereby referred to as “Application”) for mobile devices that was created by Srinivasan Rajendran (hereby referred to as “Service Provider”) as a subscription service.

Upon downloading or utilizing the Application, you are automatically agreeing to the following terms. It is strongly advised that you thoroughly read and understand these terms prior to using the Application.

Service Description

Tidy AI is an AI-powered cleaning assistant that analyzes photos of messy rooms and generates personalized cleaning plans with guided timer sessions. The Application uses AI vision technology to identify cleaning tasks, estimate durations, and provide step-by-step guidance.

Subscriptions

Tidy AI is a paid app that offers a free trial:

  • Free Trial (3 days): Full access to all features including unlimited AI room scans, guided cleaning sessions, before/after photos, and cleaning history with insights.
  • Tidy AI Pro (Weekly or Yearly): Continued full access after the trial period ends. Pricing is displayed at the time of purchase.

Payments are processed through Apple's App Store and managed via RevenueCat. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings.

AI-Generated Cleaning Plans

The Application uses AI technology (powered by Anthropic Claude) to analyze room photos and generate cleaning plans. These plans are AI-generated suggestions and should be treated as guidance, not professional cleaning advice. The Service Provider does not guarantee specific outcomes from following the generated plans.

The accuracy of room analysis and task suggestions depends on photo quality, lighting conditions, and the AI model's interpretation. Results may vary.

Camera Usage

The Application requires camera access to photograph rooms for analysis. Photos are sent to the AI service for processing and are not stored on any server. Before and after photos are stored locally on your device only.

Third-Party Services

The Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Terms and Conditions:

Internet Connection

The Application requires an active internet connection for AI room analysis. Cleaning plans cannot be generated without connectivity. The guided timer sessions and cleaning history work offline once a plan has been generated.

Intellectual Property

All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the Application remain the property of the Service Provider. Any attempts to extract the source code, reverse engineer, or create derivative versions are not permitted.

Limitation of Liability

The Application is a cleaning assistance tool and does not provide professional cleaning, safety, or health advice. The Service Provider is not liable for any injury, property damage, or adverse outcome resulting from following AI-generated cleaning suggestions. Use common sense and appropriate cleaning products for your surfaces.

Updates and Termination

The Service Provider may update the Application at any time. You agree to accept updates when offered. The Service Provider may also terminate the service at any time. Upon termination, the rights granted to you in these terms will end and you must cease using the Application.

Changes to These Terms

The Service Provider may periodically update these Terms and Conditions. You are advised to review this page regularly. Changes are effective when posted on this page.
